Easy Sourdough Pancakes

The fluffiest sourdough pancakes, ever! Even better, you can use sourdough discard to make these wonderful breakfast bites.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Sourdough (Discard or Active)
  • 1/4 cup Oil Olive or Avocado
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 each Eggs (Large)
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1-2 tbsp Vanilla Extract *Or how much ever you want (I use a lot)

Method
 

  1. Place 2 cups of sourdough into a mixing bowl. (Active or discard sourdough)
  2. Next, put in remaining ingredients; salt, oil, honey, baking soda, eggs, and maple syrup.
  3. Once all ingredients are in your mixing bowl, mix well to ensure ingredients are all incorporated fully.
  4. Your batter is now ready to cook.

Notes

**To customize pancakes with fruits or fillers, make the batter as described above and then place any fruit or topping onto the pancake right after it is poured into the skillet!
